Q: How much does Smart Poker Training cost?
A:
img Smart Poker Training is free to register and view sample training videos.
img Free poker training videos are available by signing up for rakeback.
img Full length videos start at less than $1 per video.

Q: How can I earn free training credits?
A:
img There are two ways to earn free training credits at Smart Poker Training:
img 1) Sign up for rakeback at Smart Poker Rakeback and earn a minimum of $100 in MGR (monthly gross rake) per month.
img 2) Refer your friends to Smart Poker Training, and earn 10% of video purchases made by your referrals. Then instantly convert your referral earnings to credits.
Q: How do I buy access to videos?
A:
img You must be a registered member and purchase credits to access poker videos. Credit packages can be purchased in the store for as little as 88 cents/credit. Once you have credits in your account, you can instantly access any videos you wish to purchase.
Q: Other poker training sites charge sign up fees and monthly fees. Does Smart Poker Training charge expensive fees?
A:
img There are no sign up fees and there are no monthly fees.
img When you buy access to a video at Smart Poker Training, you now own a copy of that video for life. Even if you decide to take a break from poker, you can always come back and watch your videos without having to pay more fees like other poker training sites.

Coaching Questions

Q: How can I become a coach?
A:
img To become a coach and upload your own videos you need to send a request to coaches@smartpokertraining.com.
img Please include the following information: Your online poker screennames, the sites you play on, any relevant statistics and/or graphs, and a link to a sample video(optional).
img We will review your application and get back to you as soon as possible.
Q: How do I make training videos?
A:
img We recommend using Camtasia screen recording software. Please see our video creation page in the coaches section for more information.
Q: What kind of poker videos are accepted?
A:
img We accept all kinds of poker training videos!
img Cash games, Sit and Go's, and Multi-table Tournaments. Heads Up, 6max, and Full Ring.
img Stakes can range from micro limits all the way to the nosebleed levels.
img We accept videos from every type of poker: Hold 'em , Omaha, Stud, and draw poker. Limit, pot limit, no limit, or hi/low.
img We also accept tutorial videos for teaching players how to use programs such as PokerTracker, Hold'em Manager, HUDs, scripts, and more (must be legal of course).
img Use your imagination, if it's a quality video, we will likely accept it.
img Keep in mind the demand for certain game types and limits may vary.
Q: How much money can I make as a coach?
A:
img That is entirely up to you! The more high quality videos you produce, the more you can earn. See our coaches page for more information.
Q: How do I get paid?
A:
img Currently we pay by Paypal, Epassporte, paper checks, and FullTilt transfers. The minimum cashout is $50 for all methods except checks, which is $100.
Q: Can I set the price of my videos?
A:
img Yes! You determine the price of your videos. However, you cannot change the price of your video after someone has purchased a video. The minimum price you can set for your videos is 1 credit (equivalent to $1). Video prices cannot be fractional credit amounts.
Q: Can I delete my videos after I have uploaded them?
A:
img If you wish, you may request a video no longer be available for sale. However, all users who have purchased access will be allowed 1 month to download this video. After that time, your video will no longer be available for sale or download.

Video Questions

Q: Why can't I see the sample videos?
A:
img You must register first to view the sample videos. Register here.
Q: What happens if I buy a video and the quality is poor?
A:
img We check all videos for quality and authenticity prior to posting. If you feel there is a problem with one of the videos you have purchased please email support@smartpokertraining.com.
Q: Can I withdraw any unused credits?
A:
img Sorry, we do not offer refunds for unused credits. However, new videos are being added all the time, so check our video page often.
Q: Can I download videos?
A:
img Yes! When a coach publishes a video, they have the option to make it available for download. Downloadable videos do not have DRM (digital rights management).
Q: What is the format of videos?
A:
img Videos are available in streaming flash or downloadable in windows media video.
Q: What if I buy a video and it doesn't work for me?
A:
img Please send an email to support@smartpokertraining.com describing the problem you are having.

Affiliate Program Questions

Q: Users earn 10% of all video purchases made by anyone they have referred. Can I use my affiliate earnings to buy credits?
A:
img Yes, you can. The minimum purchase is $15.
Q: What is the minimum cashout?
A:
img The minimum cashout for referral earnings is $50.
Q: How does the affiliate program work?
A:
img All registered users can refer other players to Smart Poker Training using a special referral link. To find your referral link, log in to your account and click the referrals button.
img Users can also ask friends to enter their unique username on the registration page to receive credit for a referral.
